President of the Motu Koitabu Assembly, Miria Ikupu, is currently awaiting medivac at the Pacific International Hospital in Port Moresby.
EMTV received confirmation from PIH that Mr Ikupu had been admitted after collapsing at this office.
PIH reliably informs EMTV that he was in critical condition at the ICU Ward and was stabilised before the hospital received the request for a medivac to Australia.
