An outbreak of Dysentery has hitthe mountainous areas of Nagovis nearthe closed Panguna Copper Mine onthe border of Central and South Bougainville with one reported death.
Reports from Bougainville this afternoon say authorities are working aroundthe clock to monitorthe situation.
Whilstthe people are in dire need of medication,the nearby Soverle Health Centre has been closed due to land dispute.
