Divine Word University final year students are encouraged to apply to PricewaterhouseCoopers (PwC), this month.
PwC’s Human Capital Manager Shirleyanne Fauma encouraged the students during their annual graduate recruitment roadshow visit to DWU yesterday.
Fauma emphasized the importance of submitting their applications early, stating that PwC receives over 1,000 applications each year.
“Many applications come in on the April 30 deadline, making it harder for us to review them quickly. Submitting early increases your chances of securing an interview,” she said.
During the presentations, Fauma highlighted PwC’s investment in technology and professional development. “At PwC, learning never stops. While we offer full-time employment right after recruitment, continuous training is part of our culture,” she said.
She also described PwC’s work environment as a “community of solvers.” “We are looking for graduates who are problem-solvers and eager to learn. If you enjoy working on solutions, PwC is the right place for you,” she added.
The team visited the University of Technology (UOT), the University of Papua New Guinea (UPNG), Pacific Adventist University (PAU), Institute of Business Studies University (IBSU), and Divine Word University (DWU) from March 20 to 31.
