Digicel Netta Netball Clinic attracts 100 school girls

Over one hundred school girls as young as three years participated inthe Digicel Netta Netball Clinic conducted in Alotau.

Alotau recorded one ofthe biggest attendances of schools girls atthe Netta Coaching Clinic conducted atthe Alotau Netball courts.

Alotau isthe 3rd centre to hostthe clinic after Lae and Kokopo, and major sponsors Digicel along with representatives fromthPNG netball Federation were on hand to facilitatethe clinic.

Over a hundred girls from six Alotau based schools and one from outside took part inthe coaching clinic; including Koeabule, Goilanai Community School, AlotauInternational, Melton Grammar and New Heights Academy.

School teachers also got involved inthe clinic along with fifteen coaches fromthe Alotau Netball Association.

ANA have performed well inthe National Netball Championships and take much pride intheir junior development programs.
