Dead Youth Found Outside Lae Night Club Car Park

The body of a man in his twenties was found outside a Lae nightclub this morning has been identified by family.

Lae police are withholding the identity of the young man pending further investigations into his death.

The body at the scene indicated that the young man may have been beaten to death.

Police investigations will establish what happened to the man.

The body of the young man was found this morning outside the Lae Bowling club.

The body was visible to the public till 9 a.m. this morning. 

Initially club workers thought the man was drunk and asleep.

Workers leaving the premise approached the body and realised that the man was dead.

A Police unit was alerted and secured the body. The Criminal Investigation Division was called to the scene, and investigations will continue.

The body of the identified male showed that he had been severely beaten in the head.  He was bleeding from the ears and there was blood surrounding were he lay.

The family members have come forward to claim the body at the Angau morgue.
