Crusader to meet Panamax in Women’s NSL Final

PNG women’s soccer veteran Mirriam Lanta scoredthe final goal to help Crusaders to victory, 2 goals to 1 against Yamaros inthe semifinal ofthe Womenrsquo;s National Soccer League.

Nothern Crusaders will now go on to meet ether Panamax Poro FC or Power Football Club from Lae inthe grand final next week.

Nothern Crusaders have beenthe power pack inthe Port Moresby Womenrsquo;s National Soccer League right throughoutthe 2013 season.

Due tothe very limited number of teams inthe women’s National Soccer League, Nothern Crusaders have had only one steep opposition from Kavieng Hotel Yamaros.

Thebreakas a much needed time out session for both teams returning on field with more fire power.

Nothern Crusaders havethe services of formePNG Womenrsquo;s Soccer Captain and veteran Mirriam Lanta who steered her team allthe way to victory inthe second half.

Nothern Crusaders will now go on to face Poro FC who beat Power 4 goals to 1 in today’s Lae encounter.
