Craters on city roads after rains

The down pour inthe nation’s capital is not helpingthe road conditions. It has created potholes some of which are as big as craters, makingthem hazardous for motorists.

Trouble spots includethe entrance tothe Supreme Court and rainbow.

Atthe entrance to one ofthe most visited institutions, the supreme court of Papua New Guinea vehicles were seen maneuvering through this river like pot hole. Some chose to create anther road.

Commuters say it’s appalling that nothing has been done to fixthe road even duringthe dry season.

The store owners here have stacked gravel attheir entrance to stopthe water going intotheir yard.

It’s been like this for several months. Residents are calling on NCDC to fixthe drainage problem and havethe road fixed.
