Corporate Touch Updates

It was a fiery four all draw between Fincorp and BSP in the Corporate Touch Port Moresby Competition, Open mixed division.

BSP had been rewarded early with a try before Fincorp fought back to see the scores see-saw until the last moment, when a dramatic pass out wide saw Fincorp equalize, after an error by their opponents gifted them the ball.

Other mixed division results had Exxon Mobil defeat Transport five tries to two.

President John Bonot, has said the competition has two more weeks of normal play before the finals and stated a number of teams are currently seen as favourites leading to September.

Clubs seen as heavyweights include, four time women’s champions BSP and defending men’s champions Moniplus.

Meanwhile, the team with the assistance of the PNG Touch Federation are beginning preparations for the BSP PNG Games and organizers are hopeful that team NCD will prove strong enough to beat defending PNG games champions East New Britain.
