Coalition Stable

The People’s National Congress Party and the United Resource Party have entered into an alliance agreement that will further strengthen their coalition partnership until the 2017 national elections.

People’s National Congress Party leader, Prime Minister Peter O&rsquO’Neill and United Resource Party leader, William Duma maintain that the coalition is stable since its’ formation in 2012,

Prime Minister Peter O&rsquO’Neill said both parties will provide political stability to ensure the current government maintains and implements its policies.

Parties will put their numbers together to defeat any vote of no-confidence and motion that will challenge their government. 

United Resource Party, a coalition partner with eight members, also maintains its partnership with the O&rsquO’Neill-Dion government. Party leader William Duma assured that parties will affect the alliance agreement.

The National Congress Party and the United Resource Party pledged to support each other to form the next government immediately after the 2017 national elections.
