Sick children and guardians were given a warm surprise atthe Port Moresby General Hospital when former Beisbane Beoncos legend Petero Civoniceva visitedthe children’s ward early this week.
The NRL legend thankedthe hospital staff for their tireless efforts.
“I just like to thank allthe hospital staff for your hard work and dedication to bring joy and happinessthese children,” Petero toldthe staff.
Petero presented gift bags, whilst taking his time to personally meetthe patients and offer words of encouragement.
The former Kangaroo will head to Lae today to conduct school rugby clinics atthe Lae and Begandi Secondary Schools.
