CISCO, the largest networking company in the world showcased its 10 80p quality, 70 and 55 inch WebEx platform, to telecommunication companies in Papua New Guinea yesterday, in Port Moresby.

Engineers from CISCO demonstrated how the platform could be used in an office to hold conferences or small meetings with clients.

Cisco is an American multinational technology company that develops, manufactures and sells networking hardware, telecommunications equipment and other high-technology services and products.

The company’s branch in Australia had some of its engineers to visit telecommunication companies in Papua New Guinea to show and tell some of CISCO’s products and services.

CISCO Territory Account Manager Ross Delacour says that CISCO’s main aim is to stop employees from calling IT for help.

Delacour says with CISCO’s WebEx platform, meetings or conferences are made easier in just three ways.

Stream Tech Knowledge, Managing Director, Andy Obeidi says, he was happy to introduce CISCO’s organisations to PNG.

Obeidi says, CISCO has a wide range of user friendly innovations and products which Papua New Guinean companies won’t find it difficult to use.

CISCO Engineer, Geoff Yates, who did demonstrations on some of CISCO’s wireless applications says, one of the best platforms is CISCO Meraki.

Cisco Meraki is 100 per cent cloud managed IT. With a comprehensive set of solutions that includes wireless, switching, security, communications, EMM, and security cameras, all managed through Meraki’s web-based dashboard interface, it allows customers to seize new business opportunities and reduce operational costs.
