The Catholic Church has maintained its stand onthe issue of death penalty.
It’says though it isthe decision ofthe governmentthe church will still not support it; rtherthe church has thrown its support behindthe Nationwide Haus Cry.
They have called ontheir entire church member to come out on May 15th to supportthe women oPNG.
Arch Beushop of Port Moresby John Ribat has also appealed tothe government to actively involve churches intheir decision making regarding welfare ofthe country and its citizens.
