Chickens to Vanimo

Slow steady steps are being taken to revivethe PoultryIndustry in Sandaun Province which was devastated mid this year by an outbreak of Newcastle Disease.

One Thousand Five Hundred day old chickens have been sent to Vanimo to be distributed to farmers.

They’ll be used as part of a monitoring process to guard against any new outbreak.
