Ipata’s Cup: Captain’s Meeting

12 Team Captains Competing in the Southern Leg of the Ipatas Cup Competition came face to face on Friday, anticipating for the final playoffs in Lae, Morobe Province.

The captains will not rest until the three- day tournament is over.

Paga Panthers will be in low profile but optimistic for a gold pass this season.

Port Moresby Rugby League Paga Panthers was the Team to Beat.

The Club is renowned to produce quantity and quality players to the Semi- Professional League Rugby Competition, Digicel Cup and the Kumuls.

It won’t be an easy win as all clubs will be in force filing a strong side but hoping for a gold pass.

Panthers will be heavily relying on their successful past when competing against the new recruits including Mairi Eagles and Lakwaharu-Keleone.

Coca-Cola Ipatas Cup Chief executive Officer Timothy Lepa met the Captains and team Managers at Sir William Skate Oval on Friday.

The 12 captains were in their colors ready to execute their game plans.

All smiles as they gave a pat on their backs while signaling a bitter showdown on the 14th of February.

Sir William Skate Stadium will host some games while the University Grounds will play host to the other remaining games.

NCDC Sebab League has brought a team with support from NCDC Governor Powes Parkop throught the NCDC Sports Desk.

The 12 teams will be vying for two gold passes to have access into the playoffs.
