An award winning woman writer inthe US has called on women all overthe world to boycotPNG Coffee in protest overthe abuse of Papua New Guinea women.
Feminist leader and co-founder ofthe women’s media center, Robin Morgan, said woman-hating is a sickness itself. No religion masksthe superstition and no hierarchy dictates its rules.
Morgan was writing in support of an article by award winning Australian Journalist Jo Chandler who has been highlighting instances where women accused of withchcraft have been publicly burned.
The recent public burning of a young woman in Mt. Hagen drew international attention withthe UN callingthe government to stem ongoing violence against women.
