The Civil Aviation Minister, Davis Steven, has urged the contractors building the K82 million Goroka Airport to do a good job.
The project will be one of Eastern Highlands biggest infrastructure development that will boost business and tourism growth in the province; taking into consideration that its provincial capital, Goroka, is the second largest town out of the highlands provinces.
Funded by an Asian Development Bank loan, the airport will be built under the guidance of a Chinese contractor, Covec.
