Getting from point A to point B is sometimes a little difficult in Papua New Guinea and Bulolo District in Morobe Province is no exception.
Strong currents make many places in Bulolo District accessible only by foot and as inhabitants of the district will tell you, many lives have been lost trying to cross areas riddled with fast flowing rivers.
Recently, the people of Maus Kaindi, just outside of Wau and Rari in the headwaters of the Snake River became recipients of the Bulolo District Footbridge Program.
