The Port Moresby Men’s Softball Competition got off to a great start with United Betherstaking on Wolves in an A grade match.
United Bether Pitcher Dick Bert Junior sent Wolves back tothe dugout asthey took lead and maintained right throughoutthe innings.
It was United Bethersin Beue who hadthe last laugh asthey defeated Wolves 2 nil atthe bottom ofthe 4th innings to call it a game.
Wolves’ batters trlied in vain to hit runs to score some points however with an alert and evergreen Bethersoutfitothis proverd difficult.
Bethersbrought home two runners on two occasions to put some points onthe board and maintained tight fielding till time and game.
