Brothers maintains Top Spot

After round 17 of Port Moresby Rugby League, Bethersstill maintainedthe top spot.

Hohola Flies managed to push up from 14th place by beating Eagles who are inthe top 10 positions.

Port Moresby Rugby League ended its round 17 last week beforethe commencement ofthe Oceania Cup at Lloyd Robson Oval in Port Moresby.

There were changes onthe ladder with teams below fourth and tenth placing after every round.  However,the four teams still maintainedtheir top four positions include Bethers Magani, Hawks and Souths who have been inthe fourth placing in two consecutive weeks. 

The competition breeds potential and current players inthe semi- professional rugby league competition – Digicel Cup.

Meantime,the inception of Oceania Cup played at Lloyd Robson Oval has caused disappointment to affiliated clubs intheir next weekend’ draw.

Clubs urged PRL boards to inform formally in advance and collect views before making any decisions that will affect preparations for the games.
