Milne Bay Province receives donation from Border Development Authority

Border Development Authority (BDA) has distributed building materials, water tanks, outboard motors, dinghies, adjustable delivery beds and vehicles to the remote parts of the Milne Bay Province last week.

These items were distributed to various, Local Level Government (LLG) wards, schools and health centers in the isolated islands of Kiriwina u2013Goodenough, electorate. These items were transported on the barge MV Milne Bay Atolls.

The vehicles were delivered to Kuboma LLG wards and Kiriwina High School on Trobriand Island while the Dinghy and outboard motor was delivered to Goodenough Elementary School on Good enough Island. The water tanks, building materials and adjustable delivery beds were delivered to various, schools and health centers on both Islands.

BDA was established by the National Parliament in 2008 to deliver projects to border Provinces.
