Besta PNG United is no ordinary club in the National Soccer League Competition.
It is a team that contains the country’s future soccer professionals.
After two straight defeats in the competition this season, things are changing and they are no easy victory for other franchises.
Besta FC has lost to Lae FC and Morobe United FC 2goals-1 respectively after putting up strong fights under the guidance of Coach Bob Morris.
Morris said, after losing 14 of his players to other NSL clubs this season, the team has recruited new talents from Lae, Wau, Madang and the NGI.
The massive task been has been to identify their player combinations.
“It’s all about how a player understands the abilities of his team mate that will help players to also play their combinations, ’’says Morris.
This weekend’s game against Hekari United FC will be their biggest test for this season; however the coach is confident his team will be a no easy defeat.
The team is also expected to get massive supporters backing from the Lae crowd at the Sir Ignatius Kilage stadium game against Hekari FC on Saturday.
