Bemobile Plans Major Expansion for 2014

Bemobile is embarking on a major expansion around the country this year, 2014.

According to Bemobile Chief Executive Officer Sundar Ramamurthy, Bemobile will be working on its major expansion this year. He made this remark during the presentation of plane tickets to five lucky winners of the “Bemobile Turn Your Sim On” Campaign at the Bemobile Head Office in Port Moresby.

One of Bemobile’s major expansion programs for this year is to expand their network to every major town and rural area in PNG, and to launch products that give customers a choice. The program started last year in December with the stabilisation of the Bemobile network in Port Moresby and Lae.

As part of the program, the “Turn Your Sim On” campaign ran with the aim of having its customers using their sim cards. The outcome was good with most customers using their sim cards and actively using it. This gave Bemobile confidence to extend their network.

Apart from the airline ticket prizes, others won mobile phones, LCD TV’s and Apple iPAds. The campaign was supported by Air Nuigini and PNG FM. At the moment, Bemobile is looking for other international companies to partner with.
