Australia is set to carry out short-term health and education projects on Manus Island.
It will assist in refurbishingthe outpatientodental and emergency sections of Lorengau hospital as well as equipment.
Australian High Commissioner tPNG Ian Kemish announcedthe assistance package while visiting Manus last week.
“We happy to make that contribution; and it’s not just talks, we’ll do it. Just to be clear about itowe have a program manager ofthe incentive fund coming to Manus to dothe scoping and to dothe specifications for the tender to that roof,” says Kemish.
