AusAID provides free-call hotline in rural health centers

Rural health workers will now be able to use mobile phones, to receive real-time advice from health experts during critical medical emergencies.

The free-call hotline is the first of its kind launched in the country.

It will operate 24 hours, seven days a week and is being funded through AusAID’s Economic and Public Sector Program.
