Athletes to get Incentives

Six hundred and eighty thousand Kina (K680, 000) has been promised to athletes and officials ofthe Mini Pacific Games by Prime Minister Peter O’Neill.

Prime Minister O’Neill, in thankingthe athletes and officials atthe welcome reception atthe Gateway Hotel, urgedthe Team to build on whatthey have achieved.

 

He reiterated thatthe rest ofthe Pacific is preparing to beatPNG atthe 2015 Games.

 

Each member of TeaPNG including athletes and officials – will get K1, 000 each.

 

 

This incentive would be doubled for those participating inthe 2015 Pacific Games.
