Ase Boas Moves into Five Eight Position

By Fidelis Sukina – EMTV Sports, Port Moresby

The SP PNG Hunters have slumped to their fifth straight loss on Saturday succumbing to the North’s Devils Power in 26 points to 6 loss, at the Devils home ground.

Head Coach Michael Marum has pulled the plug on Justin Yoka’s three game appearance sighting that the five eight was weak in defence.

The coach opting for Jerry Teme who will start off at half back, Marum backs Teme as a talker on the field and can help Ase Boas who now moves into his favoured five eight position, to organise a coordinated attack.

One more debutant this weekend, Joe Frank is set to become Hunter No. 80 when he runs off the interchange bench in Round 6 of the Intrust Super Cup competition against Central Queensland Capras this Saturday in Brisbane.

Charlie Simon returns to the extended bench with Stanton Albert, Captain Adex Wera and Gairo Kapana.

Coach Michael Marum will finalise the 18 man traveling team tomorrow on Thursday. The Hunters will fly to Rockhampton on Saturday to take on Central Queensland Capras in the Round 6 Intrust Super Cup clash at 6.35pm at McIndoe Park, Emerald.
