AROB prepares for Visit of International bust

Bishop of Bougainville Catholic Diocese, Bernard Unabali has announced, that a shrine named ‘Fatima’, will be built, to mark the visit, of the international pilgrim Statue of Our Lady of Fatima, to the Autonomous Region of Bougainville.

This will continue the work of evengelisation within the Catholic Diocese and to prepare for the centenary celebrations.

Bishop Bernard was speaking at the closing of the special visit of the International pilgrim Statue of Our Lady of Fatima.

Over a thousand Catholic faithfuls gathered at the Our Lady of the Assumption Cathedral in Hahela, Buka.

Custodian of this sacred image, Brother Paul Folley told EMTV News, it came on the right time when Bougainville is chattering its way forward for its political status.

Not only that, but the unification of all churches in Bougainville, who came to pray and venerate together.
