Amoa Beach Volley-Ball

A beach volley ball competition is on every weekend at Ela Beach. The competition is set up to train and prepare the Amoa men and women’s beach volley ball team before the games in July.

Currently the train on squad for Amoa Men and Women’s team are made up of 12 players, with most of them having international exposure.

Players such as Moha Mea, and Richard Batari, have both represented PNG in the Wallis and Fortuna games.
Dai Moia, and Alice Iro, have also represented Papua New Guinea, in the women’s category.

Mea, Batari and Andrew Sinari were recently in Gold Coast, Australia, where they competed in numerous Australian State beach volley ball tournaments .

The current train on squad which consists of 12 players, will be cut down to a final four, to play in the men’s and women’s division respectively at the Pacific Games.
