The Tourism & Hospitality community in Alotau, has welcomed its newest member, Alotau Waterfront Lodge.

Owned by local company RFI Enterprise, Waterfront Lodge recently witnessed its official opening by Tourism Arts & Culture Minister, Tobias Kulang.

According to RFI Executive Chairman, Robert Igara, their decision to venture into the hospitality industry is to support and promote the local hospitality industry.

He says given that Milne Bay Province has been identified as a tourism hub, Waterfront Lodge aims to provide a true Milne Bay experience for visitors to Alotau.

The facility has already received rave reviews, hosting several corporate events since commencing operations in 2013.

Meriba-May Igara, is the Lodge’s General Manager. Responsible for the lodge’s day-to-day operations, she is confident that the operations will pick-up, especially given the fact that Alotau has been identified as Tourism hub.
