National Flag Carrier, Air Niugini, has signed a Preferred Partner Agreement with Australia’s largest travel agent, Flight Centre.

Chief Executive Officer, Simon Foo, said Flight Centre will sell and promote the Air Niugini brand and PNG tourism to a larger network of corporate travellers in Australia.

“Air Niugini is privileged to be associated with Flight Centre. We trust that with the centre’s large network, it should be able to extensively sell and promote Air Niugini brand, PNG tourism and reach out to a larger network of corporate travellers in Australia,” Foo said

Cheap flights, holiday packages, cruises, travel deals, insurance and more are offered through Flight Centre.

Air Niugini operates a total 26 flights to Australia each week, including 13 to Brisbane, 11 to Cairns and two services to Sydney. These flights are operated using the Boeing 767, B738 and the Fokker 70 aircraft.
