Since the Clash at Lae’s Sialum Compound in 2015, the place is still deserted. Many houses were burnt to the ground and other properties damaged.
As reported, many were injured, two lives had been lost and one had gone missing since last year.
An assessment has been carried out by Provincial Law and Order together with Red Cross and International Organisation for Migration (IOM) and a report will be collated and submitted to the Provincial Government to address.
