Morobe Provincial Administrator Kemasa Tomala is urging over 400 team Morobe athletes to give it their best in the upcoming PNG Games in Kokopo, East New Britain.
Team Morobe will be represented in 31 sporting codes during the games.
Speaking at the Team Morobe’s Cooperate fundraising dinner last Friday, Mr Tomala said the team is mostly made up of amateur athletes, thus bringing out the true nature of the grassroots games.
This year’s PNG Games is seen as the most expensive from previous games, with much of the K10 million funding spent on infrastructure development alone.
