PNG’s Golden Girl Abigail Tere-Apisah is currently on break and back home in PNG after her recent success of the Australia Tour.
Previously ranked 970 in the world, she had managed to cut down her ranking by atleast 400 spots.
With the huge drop in her ranking, President of PNG Racquets Club, Tim Kriebisch and her family congratulated her on her achievement.
She says she is hoping to climb up the World Tennis Association rankings ladder further in next year’s tournaments.
Abigail would be heading back to training in December, in preparations for next year’s tournaments.
