Besta Cup Begins Today

The annual Besta Cup is set to commence today, the first of its leg is the Momase region.

The Besta Cup will continue throughout all four regions in the country with the final region to be in the Highlands.

The competition will see local associations battle it out against each other to reveal the best in the region.

Following the Momase region, the Besta Cup will continue to the Southern region in Kiunga.

The football associations in the Southern region will go head to head southern leg, which will begin on August 20, ending on the 24th.

From there the competition will move to the NGI region in Kimbe, where the Kimbe team is set and prepared with a strong side to compete.

Kimbe is known for producing some of the country’s best players in the likes of Philip Raga, David Muta, Cyril Muta, Wira Wama to name a few.

The competition is set to be good preparations for players before the Telikom National Soccer League is set to begin.
