PNG’s biggest Family Social EventoTrukai Fun Run is next month and businesses operating inthe country have come on board to support.
Funds raised will go towards participation of TeaPNG inthe forthcoming Mini Games in Wallis Futuna.
Trukai Fun Run Event isthe major fundraising drive forPNG Sport Federation and Olympic Committee to raise funds for international meets.
The event has attracted many business houses purchasing over 60 000 shirts.
PosPNG today presented a cheque of twenty one thousand kina to TrukaiIndustry for the Fun Run Shirts.
A total of two thousand, one hundred shirts werethen presented tothe Police for the Recruits at Bemana to participate inthe Trukai Fun Run eventomaking it an inclusive event for all.
Trukai is excited as this year recordedthe highest number of shirts sold only in Port Moresby and Lae. This figure is expected to increase once ther participating centers are confirmed.
