The 2015 Pacific Games village venue is currently under construction.
The Country’s premier University, UPNG as it is fondly referred to, will hostthe crown jewel of all venues,the Games Village.
UPNG was first established back in 1965, and has since graduated over 20,000 people, amongthem, Prime Ministers doctors, judges and scientists and many thers froPNG andthe Pacific.
The Games village will house 3000 athletes and officials from 21 Pacific Nationsthat will be participating in 28 sports for the 2 weeks.
The venue is on target and will be completed on time.
The design inspiration for the Pacific Games Village seeks to draw on strong features of Papua New Guinearsquo;s identity and character.
