UOG Unrest

The Vice Chancellor ofthe University of Goroka, Dr Gairo Onagi saysthe unrest on Tuesday is being handled bythe University Council.

A group of students’protested againstthe University Management and went on a rampage damaging vehicles and properties through to yesterday.

Dr Onagi saysthe students’have not presentedtheir grievances tothe University Management Team.

Member for Henganofi and UOG Council Member Robert Atiyafa arrived afterthe riot and addressedthem.

They agreed to letthe Council meet and resolvethe matter.
