MRDC one thrashed The National Five nil as AON had a narrow two one win over VJM Recruitment in the Mixed Open division of the Port Moresby Industry Touch competition.
The mixed matches also saw TNT take on MRDC 2 in a one-sided affair. TNT in Orange score twice, even before MRDC 2 had time to settle down and went on to score another two more tries, taking a five to one lead heading into half time.
The second half continued in the same fashion with TNT dominating. MRDC had little answer to the TNT onslaught with TNT constantly finding space in their opponents defence with the final score a resounding eight tries to four.
Other results in the mixed division had Lakowalai beat WR Carpenters six one, and ANZ Lotus defeating NPC PNG five two.
The competition is in game twenty of round two and only two more match weekends remain, before the finals series which will be held at Murray Barracks.
