Counting for West Sepik continues today with the Nuku and Aitape-Lumi Open electorates, while Telefomin Open, Vanimo-Green River Open electorate and West Sepik Regional are yet to be arranged.
The recent counting has shown that seating member for Aitape-Lumi Open electorate is leading with 5,517 votes.
Progressive results are as follows;
For the Aitape-Lumi Open electorate after count 40 today;
Patrick Pruiatch (NA Party) – 5,517
John Awei Yemi (United Resource Party) – 3,583
Job Tolipi Aiti ( New Dawn Transformation Party) – 2,330
In the Nuku Open electorate after count 3;
Joe Sungi (NA Party) – 3,315
Andrew Kumbakor (Pangu Pati) – 1,857
Charles Wolo Sirongo (People’s Movement for Change Party) – 362
Meantime, counting continues this afternoon for the two electorates.
