Bomana Mini Soccer Competition

Today saw the official start of the Mini – Soccer Competition in Bomana outside Port Moresby.

Taking part in the competition are 14 soccer teams consisting of both adult and children’s teams.

The Mini-Soccer Competition officially kicked off today in Bomana with a strong game between Mix Mates and the Junior Middle East.

Both teams defended well which left the half time score at nil all.

Five minutes into the second half, Junior Middle East scored.

Mix Mates tried defending their goal however; Junior Middle East’s ball work was too good.

Twelve minutes before full time, Junior Middle East scored another goal to win the game at two points to nil.

The Mini-Soccer Competition in Bomana will continue until January 10th next year.

The 14 teams taking part in the competition are from CIS, Bomana Dog Unit, Mc Gregor, Kerepia Barracks, Police College and Nine Mile residents.
