Almost three days before the New Year, and people will have different approaches about the change of time.
In Lae, some have bigger hopes for a better 2016.
A community leader says he expects to see improvement of behavior among the city’s youth.
2015 has been a year of challenges for some people, and to others it was a time that brought new developments.
Some of the people interviewed by EMTV News in Lae are expecting newer things that the New Year will bring for them.
Some have promised to live life differently from what they had been doing in 2015.
Martina Nareve, a mother of 4 says, she plans to help heal the sick by providing more herbal medicine to those who need it.
“You can either go visit the sick at the hospital or carry outreach programs to people in communities”, Martina said.
A village court magistrate says he is passionate of improving youths’ lives at Lae’s Ahi community, a community-policing role he plans to achieve in 2016.
Over the years, Lae city has been known for its crime activities and community and church leaders including law-enforcing agencies are hoping for a better 2016.
