‘Lukim PNG Nau’ Expo into Second Day in Kokopo

The Lukim PNG Nau Tourism expo has continued into its second day in Kokopo, East New Britain province.

The expo scheduled to commence on Sunday begun yesterday (24 September, 2018) following torrential rain in Kokopo that disrupted its launch on Sunday.

The expo is an annual tourism-led event that brings together various stakeholder within PNG’s tourism industry.

The tourism, arts and culture minister Emil Tamur officiated at the launching.

Minister Tamur says the expo was timely for East New Britain province has it is embarking on boosting tourism as an industry for the province.

This was the first time the tourism expo was held out of Port Moresby.

And it provides an avenue for exhibitors who may not have a chance to attend overseas travel shows.
