A recently-launched women’s association in the Mul-Baiyer electorate of Western Highlands Province is set to alleviate poverty and bring good health to women and children. The association has also incorporated yoga, so that mothers can participate in the National Capital District’s Active City Walk for Life Program.
The Mt Hagen Catholic Diocese rehabilitation program for prisoners at the Baisu Jail in Western Highlands Province has seen positive impacts. Led by the Baisu Jail Chaplin, Father Robert Noli, prisoners were given livestock to look after and food gardens to tend.
