24-year-old Mother of two Missing

A single mother of two has been missing for a week now.

Roselyn Tabu, was last seen on the 29th of December 2017, when she left Tubuseria Village to come into Port Moresby to buy betelnut for her daily sales.

The young woman’s family is desperately in search of her, and have filed a missing person’s report with the Police.

She is 24 years of age, and is from a mixed parentage of East New Britain and Central Province.

Roselyn sells betelnut for money for herself and her two children who are below the ages of 5.

According to her family, Roselyn was last seen on Friday, December 29, 2017.

Her uncle, Jack Tabu, said, she was last seen wearing a collar shirt, baggy cut jeans and had spotted red hair extensions. He described her as around, 165cm tall with more East New Britain features.

According to her family, her daily routine is purchasing betelnut at Saraga Market in 6mile, to sell back at her home in Tubuseria, Central Province.

But after not returning home that same day, the family raised alarms and went to the police for assistance.

“Roselyn left the village to go buy betelnut at Saraga Market and hasn’t returned home since. On Tuesday, we went to the police for assistance.”

Her family told EMTV News, they have also checked the 3mile morgue throughout the week in fear of finding her there, but have not identified any of the deceased women as their missing family member.

“We have also contacted our family members living in NCD and none have seen her. Yesterday, we went to the village council and they made a public announcement of our missing family member.

Roselyn Tabu’s family is appealing to the public if they have seen her to contact the following numbers; 75301047, 73787751, 75524804, 75319837 or the nearest Police Station.

They have also posted on social media, in hopes, of assistance from the public.
