New South Wales and Queensland teams have been announced for the 2015 State of Origin.

Coach for the NSW Blues, Laurie Daley, has stuck with halfback Trent Hodkinson, and brought back Mitchell Pearce into the side at five-eighth.

This year’s state of origin will feature a mixture of experience, youth and form.

The New South Wales Blues will be without former NRL superstar, turned NFL convert, Jarryd Hayne, who is replaced by the exciting dragon, Josh Dugan.

Coach for the NSW Blues, Laurie Daly, has paired Mitchell Pearce and Trent Hodkinson in the halves. Beau Scott will be up front with the new generation of forwards Josh Jackson, David Klemmer, Boyd Cordner and Andrew Fifita.

The Queensland Maroons will be out for revenge, after the Blues put an end to their 8-year reign in origin last year.

The maroons will have an exciting backline, which will without a doubt, be a concern for the blues.

With Billy Slater, Greg Inglis, Justin Hodges in the backline, and Cooper Cronk and Johnathan Thurston to control play in the halves.

Their experienced forward pack, includes Sam Thaiday and Nate Miles.

With skilled campaigners, and exciting new talent, State of Origin 2015 looks to be a thriller.
