By Fidelis Sukina – EMTV Sports, Port Moresby

PNGRFL Chairman, Sandis Tsaka, says their administration does not have a say in any selection of players.

This role, he says is one for the coaches and selectors.

Mr. Tsaka says he has his personal opinions about the performance of the Oil Search PNG Orchids, but he does not interfere in the selection of players. He made the comments during the announcement of two new management members of the PNG Orchids.

He added, that coaching and management staff are qualified to do their duties and will do their jobs without any influence, from the PNGRFL Administration.

The PNGRFL Chairman said the same applied to the other national teams in the sport of rugby league, where the coaches and selectors take responsibility of the team’s performance.
