Speaker impersonator arrested

A Lae man has been arrested and charged for impersonating Papua New Guinearsquo;s Speaker of ParliamentoTheo Zurenoc,   onthe internet and uploading nude pictures of himself.

“Jackson Kelly, created an account onthe Lithuanian mobile social networking site, Eskimi, about two weeks ago with a picture ofthe speaker on his profile”

After a week of investigations, police and officers fromthe speaker’s office lured Kelly to a Lae Hotel and arrested him yesterday morning.  

For two weeks, Jackson Kelly,the online profile lures women.  His profile name Hotboy4214 hadthe picture ofthe Theo Zurenoc.    It was perhaps his major draw card.  

Yesterday, police and officers fromthe speaker’s office tricked him into coming tothe Phills Motel in in Lae where police madethe arrest.  An officer fromthe speaker’s office said for the past two weeks members ofthe public had been callingthe speaker’s office asking ifthe profile actually belonged tothe speaker.

Eskimi has about three thousand Papua New Guineas registered online.  It has become onthe fastest growing mobile websit’s inthe world.  Police confiscated Jackson’s mobile phone which contained hundreds of nude pictures of Papua New Guinea women of all ages. 

What is also disturbing isthe high number of secondary and primary students’exchanging nude videos and still pictures viathe mobile social networking site for phone credits.  Jackson who spoke to EMTV’s Lae Bereau saidthe problem is far worse than many imagine.

Kelly was later taken tothe Lae police station. He has been formally charged with possession of pornographic material.  Futher charges relating tothe impersonation ofthe speaker will be laid today.    

Police will now be followingthe leads provided by Kelly. The names and phone numbers will be used to investigatethe matter futher.
