The Members of the PNG LNG Kumuls visited Kopkop College yesterday in the Nation’s Capital District. Excited students cheered on their favourite players as they made their way into the School.

As part of the Rugby League Community engagement during the World Cup, the Kumuls paid a visit to the Kopkop College at Gerehu.

Many students were star-struck as some of their favourite players made their way into the school and on to the stage. As the players took their seats on-stage, students flocked the school hall to get a closer look at each Rugby talent.

The players were asked to introduce themselves to the school, and as each player did, the students roared.

They were later were given the opportunity to ask questions to the players about their rugby league career.

After questions and answers, teachers and students ran wild taking pictures and autographs of the players. Kumuls hooker, Kurt Baptiste was overwhelmed by the support shown from the students.

He said he is looking forward to the match this weekend against the Irish at the Oil Search National Football Stadium.
