Pacific MMI Port Moresby Corporate Snooker competition cues off

The Pacific MMI Port Moresby Corporate Snooker competition cued off at 6:30pm on Sunday with premier grade Lamana 1 taking debutantes DKS at the Q Club, while Kansas faced-off with Magic Wizard at the Lamana Hotel.

The other Premier grade game between PMMI and Lamana 2 will commence on Thursday evening at the Q Club.

The competition cued off 3 weeks late due to late team registration, but it has been cleared by management.

Currently there are 6 teams in each division of Premier, A, B and C Grade confirmed to participate.

POMBSA President, John Chan, said one of the Premier Grade games will be played on Thursday, due to Aviat Club’s non-use of facility on Monday.

Chan made it very clear that the score cards must be passed on to the Tournament Director, Joe Chan, after every game played the same night or the next morning.

The A-Grade division tomorrow night, will see Rapid Response play PMMI 2 at the Q Club while Kasens and PMMI 1 on a bye.

On Thursday in C Grade, HDI Dragons play PMMI 2 at the Q Club, Kasens face BPNG Cannons at the Laguna Hotel and PMMI 1 take on PMMI 3 at the Aviat Club.
