Over K100, 000 Raised to Support Cancer Work

Following its launching last month, the 2017 Port Moresby Oil Search Daffodil Corporate Cup Challenge was successfully held last week Friday 25th August.

The event saw a total of 29 teams registered and participate in the charity golf event.

More than K100, 000 was raised from the charity event. This financial contribution will support the PNG Cancer Foundation, continue to deliver more cancer education and awareness throughout the country.

CEO of PNG Cancer Foundation, Dadi Toka Jnr in a press statement stated that funds from the event “will go towards bringing cancer awareness and education programs to various communities and schools throughout the country in 2018”.

Currently, the reach with the programs throughout the country is limited however is slowly reaching out.

And now with the financial support, the Foundation is able to extend its reach in its awareness and education programs to other places where it has not gone yet.

The event was sponsored by Oil Search and continues to support the Foundation.

Heli Solutions Ltd is the 2017 Daffodil Cup Champions followed by Oil Search Team Two on the second placing, and LalokauFM on the third place.

CEO Dadi Toka thanked Oil Search and the business community for their support.
